Dear Classmates,

Welcome to our new and improved Class of 1992 website! This is now the place you can come for the most recent class information and news. We hope it will generate more interest and excitement in Class of ?92 activities.

Many of you attended our 15th reunion last June in Ithaca. What a wonderful weekend it was! Thanks to classmates Michelle Bouton and Ian Kutner for their extraordinary efforts as reunion co-chairs, and thanks to Maureen Coughlin for once again serving as registration chair. We are already looking forward to our 20th reunion in June 2012!

At reunion in June, new class officers were elected. We look forward to serving the class during the next five years. Our primary goal is to reach out to as many classmates as possible, and this website will certainly help! In addition, for those of you who are Facebook users, check out our new Class of 1992 Facebook page — another great way to re-connect and stay in touch with Cornell friends. Thanks to our Class Council member, Betty Eng, for putting this page together and maintaining it.

As I am sure many of you have already heard, we had a record-breaking Reunion Campaign year in 2007. Thanks very much to classmates Alex Hoffert, Amanda Offit, Stephen Mong, and Meredith Rosenberg for their efforts to lead our class campaign. Thanks to their hard work and the generosity of 683 classmates, we raised a total of $1.45 million for the University — a 15th reunion record! Imagine what we will be able to do in 2012 for our 20th!

By the way, even though this isn't a reunion year, we still encourage you to make a contribution to the Cornell Annual Fund. The online giving page can be found at: www.alumni.cornell.edu/fund

As I write this message, NCAA March Madness in underway. For the first time in Ivy League history, the same university — CORNELL — sent both their men's and women's basketball teams to the tournaments. Go Big Red!!!
